Hi, I'm Taisia Sturza!

In 1989, my parents sought political asylum from Soviet Ukraine in Germany. I was born as a refugee in Germany 5 years later while my family waited to be awarded a Green Card from the US immigration lottery. I'm proud to be a Russian speaking, first generation Ukrainian American. The circumstances of my upbringing have shaped my worldview, work ethic, and dedication to ending social inequity.

I'm passionate about growing ethical, market based solutions to improve health outcomes for all, locally and globally. 🌎

 

My experiences range from being a direct patient care provider > to a startup fanatic > to an eccentric student activist > to a continuous improvement operations enthusiast and customer centric strategist.

 

They've all culminated in my abiding passion for finding solutions with user experience at the forefront. Whether it's a client or patient - if the person on the ground won't use it, we lose it.

 

I'm particularly interested in improving health outcomes for people through nutritious food within the existing U.S. healthcare system. Payers, grocers, farmers, and social workers - looking at you!

 

One of my strengths is leaning into the unknown with empathy, excitement, and resilience. I'm skilled in approaching challenges with grace. The story in our head is never as scary as we make it out to be.
